If you love painting, you’ve come to the right place. For several reasons, some people prefer to make their own decorative paintings without calling a professional. You can also try this because it will save you money. Find in this article, the different steps for the realization of decorative paintings.
Assembling the frame, checking the squareness
The assembly of the frame is the first task that falls to you. Apparently, this is not at all complicated work, but it requires a lot of care. You must be sure that the grooving of the edges, has been well done. Because without the grooving of the edges, you can not proceed to the assembly of the frames with flat dowels. The insertion is done immediately after coating the grooves with glue, before the grooves are inflated. The next step is to check the squareness. Indeed, the squareness must be well checked before clamping the frame through the frame press. To make it easier for you, it would be better to use a square or to measure the diagonals. When the squareness has been checked, you can now proceed to the cutting of the frame. To do this, the frame must be placed on the board before it is cut. To make the fixing easy afterwards, you must leave a 50 mm overhang during the cutting.
Prepare the raw board after planting the seeds
After cutting the board, it is time to plant the seeds. You can start this phase by pointing a seed in the middle of the short side. To plant the second seed, you have to pull the board correctly over the opposite edge. To be able to tighten the tension of the board accurately, you need a tensioning tool. You must leave a space of 50 mm between the nails on the four opposite sides. All this work then results in a raw board.
To roughen up this raw board, there is a suitable product to apply to the board. It is simply a medium paste coating that is compatible with acrylic and oil paint.
